Des Moines, Iowa. That’s where I live and that’s where Nexus 6 lives, although I was in Sin City a couple of weeks ago for a marketing conference and awards ceremony. I was being honored with an award for excelling in the field of marketing and advertising. So, yes, we are kinda a big deal now.
Now, I could tell you about all the talks that were given and the topics that were discussed, heck, I could even tell you about my portion of the conference where I spoke about market research and the impact it has on sales. But, that would be inherently boring, and you know how I feel about things being boring.
Instead, I want to take you outside of the conference and talk about the Las Vegas strip.
During the day, it could be any other main street in any other large American city. Broadway in NYC or the Magnificent Mile in Chicago.
But at night, it comes alive.
Fountains spaying 15 stories high with an orchestrated light show. Giant digital billboards washing the streets and sidewalks in different colored lights. Flashy women in feather costumes asking you to take a photo with them. There are literally thousands of brands and logos vying for your attention everywhere.
Frankly, it’s a little overwhelming.
And therein lies the dilemma. With so much going on, how do you as an advertiser break through the clutter and grab the attention of your audience?
Do you build a bigger billboard? Design a fancier fountain show?
Naturally, for most, advertising on the Las Vegas strip isn’t a problem you’ll likely have to undertake, but just like the strip, online is cluttered, noisy, and sometimes hard to get your voice heard.
There are techniques to breaking through this white noise and we’d love to sit down with you and discuss how we can make it happen.
