Brimming with ideas too colossal for mere mortals.

Pledging allegiance to the flag of unbridled creativity.

On a relentless crusade to shake things up and leave a mark so indelible, even the universe takes notice.

Oh, and I make social posts and write copy too.

T’Annah Banda

Front and center at Nexus 6, I’m the Project Manager. Fueled by relentless creativity, I don’t just ‘do’ tasks – I romance them, serenade them, and occasionally, tango with them.

Living like Larry? Nah, Larry’s probably out there wishing he lived a bit more like me.

Megan Kiernan

From coloring on the walls and getting lost in her world in her books, to designing websites and brands, a passion for creativity was always in the cards for Megan. Learning brand design, design hierarchy, typography, illustration, and layout design during her late high school and college years, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Iowa State University in 2020. Since then she has used her skills to help develop brand identities, design print and digital materials, build websites, and assist in social media content creation for various clients at Nexus 6 after joining in 2022.

Tori Troutman

I hate technology.

We didn’t have the internet at home until I was 14, I bought my first car at 15 before my first phone.

I love art.

On any given day in high school you could find me in the art room, clay on my hands, glass in my skin, scratched from wires, paint on my face… I had taken nearly every art class my small school had to offer (some even twice). Then I took a graphic design class and I remember saying “I couldn’t be a graphic designer because I could NEVER sit at a desk on a computer all day!”, I was convinced it was never meant to be.

Born in 1998, raised in the middle-of-nowhere Iowa, some call me an old soul.

I saw tech as the end of face to face interactions and genuine human connection. In my mind there was no way these two worlds could coexist. I thought graphic designers were reclusive, nerdy, hunch backed, bug eyed, pale skinned cave creatures (not unlike Gollum).

Eventually, I came around to computers and the internet, they were a gateway to a world full of things to learn and places to see. In college I learned that graphic design blends art, tech, and human interaction. I graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Illustration from Iowa State University in 2021.

Here I am at 25, the ring leader of the nerdy, hunch backed, bug eyed, pale skinned cave creatures at Nexus 6.

Chase Stine

Chase has been putting pictures to screen since 2006 when he was gifted his first camera by his father. From then on he has gone on to work in every form of media you can imagine. From feature length films, television commercials, photography, audio mixing, social media management, and most recently graphics animation. His knowledge of the still and moving image is rivaled by few in the Midwest. After graduating from University of Iowa with a Degree in Cinema & Theatre (he also minored in communications but ironically we don’t talk about that) he moved back to Des Moines where he found Nexus 6, a marketing agency where he could release his creativity in a way that helps others in his community achieve their own goals personally and professionally.

Nick Allard

Not your typical creative strategist. Born in England, he’s been stirring up the American marketing scene since 1978, leaving his mark across eight different states.
Not just about creativity; but about creativity with a purpose.
His toolkit?
A blend of edgy video production and branding strategies that don’t just push boundaries—they
meet goals.
Does he love his job? Sure… but, Nick’s heart beats loudest for his family and trusty canine.
He is the embodiment of work-hard-sleep-harder, proving you can rule the creative world without losing your soul (as long as you get your 8 hours.)
He also loves to listen. (And, talk.)

Dave Makin

Roll out the modesty carpet. I’m the guy that started Nexus 6 Marketing. Sure we’ve snagged a few ‘Best in Des Moines’ tags and that almost-forgotten ‘Top Leader in America’ plague from a Vegas soirée. My name? Scribbled on some Top 100 Marketing list and a blip in Marquis’ Who’s Who.

But let’s be real, awards gather dust. My mom’s occasional ‘Meh’ is the real gold.

Phil Fisher

Behold, the unassuming helm-holder of Nexus 6 Marketing: balancing the title of CEO after mastering the realms of outside sales, marketing consultation, and project management finesse. Once an Army Ranger and a silent sentinel for the NSA, these days I find myself navigating the treacherous waters of office politics and deciphering the mysteries of the coffee machine, all while steering the ship of the best marketing agency around. But really, who’s tallying accolades?

Frequently asked questions

A computer.

But, no seriously, we use Wordpress. It’s widely used, open source, and easy to host anywhere if you ever decide you hate us.

We work with companies from all industries that are all sizes. Our requirements for working together is simple. We don’t hate each other and we believe that we can provide real results.

Yes we do. From capturing the footage to editing it into its final form, all our work is done here.

Hell yes you do. We get it, some companies will write you a blog but claim that they own the content as a way to retain your business, that’s bullshit and we don’t play that game. It’s yours to keep once you’ve paid for it.

Firstly, there is no cost to meet with us and talk about what we can do for you. Second, each and every quote is custom. We don’t prepackage anything. We can however say that our base rate is a hell of a lot lower than most you will find out there.

Apart from having implications in the movie Blade Runner (where the company gets its name) we ourselves are somewhat of a unicorn in the fact that we offer a fair price for top tier services. We pretty humble, regardless of how many awards we’ve won.
